Are the paintings hand painted?

All our paintings are hand painted in China by Chinese artists. We never sell prints.

All of our paintings are hand painted. You can tell by the 3D texture of the painted canvas. A print is completely smooth and has no texture.  We paint and ship all our painting from our studio in China. If for any reason you are not satisfied with the artwork you receive please email us and we will fix the problem to your satisfaction.

What kind of payments do you accept?

We use Pay Pal online payment system. This is an eBay company and is very secure. You do not need a Pay Pal account to pay. Any major credit card can be used.

How do I place an order?

After we receive a payment, we will begin painting your custom artwork.

We ship by express using EMS and DHL. Please allow 2-3 weeks for painting and 1 week for shipping.

Once we ship your painting we will send you the tacking information so you can track your package online.

Framed/Stretched Paintings will be shipped ready to hang on the wall.

Once we receive the item we will provide you with one of the following remedies of your choice.

How long does it take to complete my order?

Please allow 2-3 weeks for painting and 1 week for shipping. All our paintings are custom made for your order and hand painted.

Are the paintings framed?

Our framed/stretched, ready to hang oil paintings are framed on an internal wood frame. The painting is stretched over a wood frame so that the frame is not visible. When framed this way your art work will look exactly as pictured in our store.

How are the oil paintings made?

Our artist use high quality oil paints and canvas that resist the cracking and fading that is often seen in other oil paintings. The canvas is made of a material similar to denim. A special white coating paint is applied to the canvas to keep the surface smooth and help preserve the denim material. Oil paints are then used to create the artwork on top of this white coated canvas.

How are the watercolor paintings made?

All our Chinese paintings are painted using traditional Chinese watercolor and brush techniques. Our Chinese watercolor paintings are painted on rice paper. Some of our Chinese watercolor paintings are matted. These paintings are mounted with silk thread matting using the ancient Chinese techniques. This will be denoted in the item description.

There will be black colored Chinese characters on the front of the painting, this is the artist's signature There is a red colored seal on the front of our watercolor paintings. This is the artist's store carved "name chop", and denotes the artist’s original work and insures authenticity.

Can you do custom/commissioned artwork?

We are able to customize any or our paintings to meet your needs. We can alter the size, color, shape, or number of panels for any painting. We can also create a painting from your picture. We will send you an invoice through PayPal so you can easily pay online for your custom painting. We will send you a picture of the painting once completed for your approval. When ordering a custom/commissioned paintings please include the following in an email to exotic.arts.gallery@gmail.com  

• A picture of our painting or your own photo.

• The overall size of the painting and the size of each panel if you are ordering a multi-panel painting.

• The colors you want or want to change. It is best to give us a photo of the color you are looking for or a picture of the room you are trying to match the painting with.

• Please provide as much detail as you can to insure we create an artwork you will be happy with.
